The Algorithm

Crisis is a signature free, asynchronous and fully local, total order algorithms, designed to be a ultra-high-throuput replacement for Nakamoto's consensus in cryptocurrencies.

Overview

  • Crisis computes a total order on network events and therefore prohibits double spending.
  • It is uncompromising decentralized. No peer-, member-, or staking-list as well as no governance structure is required.
  • The algorithm is peerlessly fast and resource-efficient. Almost no data other then the actual transaction has to be send through the network.
  • Mathematics is based on well known research from grandmasters like Lamport, Moser, Melliar-Smith, Micali and Nakamoto.
  • It is irrevocably published under the (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license.
